Our whole experience … was honestly perfect

"I first dealt with Melissa (reservations manager) and she was very helpful, and then we were greeted and checked in by a lovely man working the night shift (sorry- I have failed to remember his name) but he was extremely nice and gave us a very warm and friendly welcome, he couldn’t do enough for us and deserves a lot of praise! The lady that served us at breakfast was also very nice, she was polite and very efficient - our whole experience there for the night was honestly perfect and we are already looking forward to coming back in the near future!" We did not taste better in Japan

"We stayed two nights in a very comfortable room, with great quality linen and bed nice and firm. The room on the ground floor was roadside but very quiet and we slept well both nights. Great shower pressure, lovely thick towels. All very good.The restaurant has a good selection of Japanese food, the gyoza were absolutely lovely, sashimi quality very good with powerful wasabi! We enjoyed the nigiri very much and the tempura dishes were excellent. We were in Japan two months ago and we did not taste better there!" August 2025

Made to feel like VIPs

"Spent 2 nights at Hurley House in hot August weather! From the moment we arrived we were made to feel like VIPs. Chloe could not have been more helpful, friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room (No.10) was exquisite. Scrupulously clean, comfortable with extra little touches as well as best quality towels, robes and linen that make all the difference and the air con was very welcome! We didn’t dine at the hotel as we had planned to visit other restaurants in the area but will definately visit again to do so.You can view the kitchen from the walk way to the rooms…fab to see the chefs working in such amazing and spotless conditions. Outside area for dining and drinks was incredible, and the Spanish guitar on the Saturday night made you feel like you were in the Mediterranean. Highly recommend." August 2025
