History
Founded in 2016 by Bassam Shlewet, Hurley House Hotel is an independently owned luxury boutique hotel created as a sanctuary of laid-back elegance. Designed for those who appreciate exceptional food, refined surroundings, and genuine hospitality, Hurley House is a place where people can truly unwind.
The hotel features ten bedrooms, a stylish restaurant and bar, and private event and meeting spaces, all thoughtfully designed to balance contemporary luxury with relaxed comfort.
After a 24-month refurbishment of the former Red Lyon pub, Hurley House Hotel has been transformed into a welcoming retreat. From the carefully curated limited-edition artwork by Todd White to the luxury bed linen by Soak & Sleep every detail has been thought out to reflect contemporary style, refined elegance, and laid-back luxury.
Our Team
Our long-serving, friendly front-of-house team are delighted to welcome you and ensure every visit feels personal. Behind the scenes, our talented kitchen team brings a wealth of expertise in Japanese and international cuisine, with each chef having a minimum of 12 years’ experience, trained across the world. Our events team specialises in bespoke events, passionate about creating lasting memories while taking care of the finer details along the way.
